AIMING HIGH FOR SPORTING CLAYS AT TCGC!!!

The Shotgun Community here at TCGC has expressed their need and desire for a 5 Stand/Sporting Clays Course. So, with the help and mega support of our most amazing President Mark Ericksen and a couple of the regular Shottys, we have been able to put together a small 5-Stand setup on Skeet Field 2. Mark has graciously donated his time and the use of his personal throwers to be used for this cause. Bob Powell and Tara Nelson have also added their throwers into the event.  A couple of us have volunteered the time to set-up, operate, and maintain the course on scheduled 5-Stand Events. Here is a few things to expect real soon…

• ·        Minimum of 2 days per month. Dates and times TBA. See calendar or contact shotgun@tcgc.us
• ·        We welcome the use of other member throwers. The more targets flying, the better. Some clubs have 9 or more throwers. Keeps it interesting.
• ·        This is a staffed event. Only authorized persons can setup/operate the event.
• ·        Skeet/Trap cards cannot be used. Separate cards for 5-Stand will be available for purchase at events.
• ·        This is a fund raising event. This is not a sanctioned event nor is it open to the public. However, don’t hesitate to bring a guest or family member to play. Same guest rules apply.
• ·        You do not have to be a “Key Holder” to participate. It will be staffed and available to all members.

No discounts for seniors or youth.

The proceeds will be deposited in a TCGC checking account for the purchase of throwers and needed  items to have a club owned 5-Stand or Sporting Clays course.

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE FOLLOWING…..

7 ½ or 8 Shot. NO HUNTING LOADS. Range Rules apply!! This will be monitored.

Bring Cash or Checks. We usually have change and we don’t take credit. No IOU’s!! This will be monitored.

Score Keeper Not Provided. If you need to keep score or register targets, bring a score keeper or ask around the shoot. If enough volunteers show we will oblige.
