Details Coming Soon
The cost is $25.00 per scout and $5 for each adult for lunch on Saturday.
All shooting sport activities will be carried out on ranges maintained by the Tri-City Gun Club.
Camp grounds, which are to be designated for each troop, are in open fields and are suitable for tent camping. Vehicles are not allowed in the camping area. We now have Potable Water available on site. The water is ONLY potable from BLUE hose connections at the Stat Hut, the Archery Range and the bathroom sink. Do NOT drink water from the ReD hose connections. Troops are required to bring their own potable containers for camp sites. Scouts should bring their own camp mugs or water bottles as there will be water stations at each event.
Directions to the Tri-City Gun Club can be found at www.tcgc.us.
Safety
All shooting sport activities will be supervised by National Rifle Association (NRA) Certified Instructors and/or NRA Range Safety Officers. Eye and ear protection, as well as arm and finger protection for archery, will be provided.
As a matter of safety, we request that each Troop designate a First Aid person to be their first stop for any minor issues. If any assistance is needed it will of course be available.
The head NRA safety officer, to be designated on BSA Tour plans, is:
Kevan Riley (NRA #143664454) - Certified Instructor: Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, Muzzle Loader, NRA Range Safety Officer and Merit Badge Counselor.
Check-in
Check-in begins at 6:00 PM on Friday at the dining pavilion. The gate closes at 9:30 PM so plan to arrive with plenty of time to set up camp. Members of Troop 4306 will be available to direct troops to camping areas and to assist with arrival procedures and logistics. Any troops attending Saturday only are required to arrive and be checked in by 8:00 AM on Saturday.
Scouts taking a merit badge(s) should be prepared to attend an informational session that begins promptly at 7:00 PM on Friday, October 4th. It is advisable to plan your arrival times to accommodate these scouts and to exclude them from certain positions on the Friday night duty roster. Merit badge work will also be held on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Additional time for qualifying will be available after 4:00 PM Saturday. Scouts will learn the basic principles of their chosen merit badge during this evening session in preparation for the shooting portion on Saturday.
Cracker Barrel
An adult leader and the Senior Patrol Leader from each troop are expected to attend an informational meeting/Cracker Barrel at 9:00 PM on Friday October 4th. This meeting will provide troop leaders with important information about Camp & Shoot procedures
