  MILITARY PISTOL/REVOLVER/22 MATCH

  4th Saturday Monthly.
  Cost $5 for each match  (fee is waived for first timers)
  
  Requirements for the military matches are:

  • Revolver:  Military or police center fire revolver from the Civil War to the Viet Nam War.
    
  • Semi-Auto:  Military center fire semi-auto to the Gulf War.
    
  • 22:  Any 22 caliber handgun revolver or semi-auto.
    

  The revolver and semi-auto match consist of 6 strings of 10 rounds in 10 minutes, all shot standing one handed non-supported at 25 yards.  The first string is for practices, this is optional.  The next five string are for score. 

  The 22 match consist of 3 strings of fire, one of 10 rounds 10 minutes and two of 20 rounds in 10 minutes , all shot standing one handed non-supported at 25 yards.  All are for score no practices.

  First time shooters may use what they have.
  

  From Dec to Mar you can use any revolver or semi-auto.
  Winters hours are set up and sign in start at 8 shoot at 9.
  Spring and summer (Apr to Sep) set and sign in start at 7 shoot  at 8.

  Vintage Battle Rifle & AR Match

  Vintage battle rifles used from WWII thru the Vietnam conflict that meet the following criteria are eligible. Rifles must be:

  *30 caliber
  *semi-automatic*no optics, and will include the M1, M1A, M1 carbine, cetme, FAL, AK47, SKS, and etc.. Sorry, no smaller calibers allowed. 

  This will be a bench rest type of match similar to the Military Bolt rifle matches. One or two strings will be offhand.

  For the AR rifle match, 223/556 rifles must have “iron sights” no optics or dots..same sequence of fire as battle match..

  The battle rifle match will be first and set up will begin @ 7:00, match will start @ 8:00.

  The AR match will follow @ around 10:00.

  There will be a $5 entry fee for each match..

  Do you have a pistol that you carry or train with? Feel free to bring it along with your magazines. There will be several types, sizes, and calibers of pistols provided for you to try.

  **Firearms must be unloaded and remain in vehicle. When instructed, all firearms will be inspected and brought to firing line.

  This year we remain focused on basic/defensive pistol training and situational awareness. We encourage new and intermediate shooters to sign up for this event. Instruction will be one-on-one during the pistol clinic. Situational awareness will be led by Kevan Riley & Kyle Hankins.

  Outdoor Event! Covered Pavilions.

  Minimum Age for Certification is 10.

  Participants passing the course will receive their Hunters Education Certification available from ODWC online!

  Includes: Lunch, Hunting Regulations, Hunters Education Manual, Test, 22 Rifle Shoot, hands on learning about tree stands, crossing fences and handling firearms around vehicles.  

  Instructors cover black powder, survival, rifle, shotgun, archery, wildlife, laws, etc. All taught by certified Hunters Education Trainers and NRA Instructors with actual hunting experience.

  Lunch is $8.00 for guest.
